Barron x Prim

Prim was bred in March 2026 to Barron (Vanderbilt Samoyeds), producing a beautiful litter that has already begun to demonstrate its exceptional promise. Prim earned the First Award of Merit at the 2024 SCA National Specialty at just 20 months of age and has continued to earn Best of Breed wins and Owner-Handled Group placements. Barron is a son of Dottie (CH Vanderbilt’s Do Tell), making him a maternal grandson of Mueller (Can CH Vanderbilt’s Tell Me No Lies), one of the breed’s most influential sires. This breeding also carries a special connection to Striker through his son Mr. Big (CH Vanderbilt’s Strike It Big), who is both the sire of Prim and the grandsire of Barron.

The puppies are already making their mark in the show ring! At just four months of age, Jagger earned Best Beginner Puppy in Show, while his sister Stevie captured a Working Group First. At the 2026 SCA National Specialty, Stevie continued her winning ways, earning top honors in the 4–6 Month Beginner Puppy competition. Most importantly, these youngsters have demonstrated the beautiful breed type, confident temperaments, and outgoing personalities we hoped to produce from this carefully planned breeding.
